Default fan belt pully wheel

hi all is it ok to have a very slight bit of movement in the fan fully its slight but you can see it it you try and move the fan blades front to back would this contribute to the server bouncing belt i have can some one check there fan fully

My first thought would be to check the bearings in the idler that the fan spins on. I don't think this condition is normal.

thanks for your thoughts am looking at this area but i may replace the 2 bushes on the top of the alternator first . a friend noticed the genuine volvo belt sits higher in the fan fully than the alternator and bottem drive pullys don't suppose some one changed the fan pully at some time thanks again for your input

just got 4 genuine rubber alternator bushings from volvo so when i get time will try this first
will keep you all informed

hi all
i fitted the 4 rubber bushings which are on the alternator bracket the vibration is a lot less on the first start up of the car so we have made some progress although its not perfect but a lot better
