Interested, but money is the problem.

This is probably long gone since it was originally advertised 2 years ago (you might try contacting the OP directly at his email address in the post to be sure).

Regardless I will note the following info for posterity in case others see this later on or are considering an M90 swap in an older car.

Installing this transmission and its crossmember and mount in an earlier car will also require replacing the front (engine) crossmember, the engine mount brackets on the crossmember and on the engine, and the engine mounts themselves, using the late style fluid filled mounts and late (or gasser) xmember without the welded lower mount bracket on the driver's side. The vertical transmission mount seen on the M90 here won't work correctly with the earlier style angled solid engine mounts used on 700 series diesels through the late 1980s and on all 200 chassis cars. The mismatch will lead to misaligned driveline, rapid failure of all three mounts, oil pan contact with the crossmember, etc.

The early style angled engine mounts require a corresponding angled mount on the transmission to allow the shear-style tripod mounting arrangement to work as designed. The later engine mounts that would have been in the car this transmission came from are mounted with a vertical attitude, rather than at an angle, and are designed to be used with this vertical transmission mount.

Another option to create a usable combination would be to adapt the early style angled transmission mount and transmission crossmember to the M90 trans, but that would require custom fabrication and your results might vary.

The ideal way to sell or buy a bolt-in M90 conversion kit would be to have it also include the upper and lower engine mount brackets on both sides, a set of new or good used late style diesel engine mounts, and possibly also the engine crossmember although that can be sourced from an 8v gas engine model instead. Of course including the driveline as this advertisement does is beneficial also.

Good luck!
