Yes that is true. About 170hp is maxium power with orginal pump whatever turbocharger you have and that is fact. Who said more, they are dreaming Pump needs bigger liquidhead if you want more power...

You need only good cooler and more boost/fuel. If you but bigger turbo, you also need bigger pump. Liquidheads are not expensive if you order it from china.

Are you running a chineese pump head? How has it held up? How much and where did you buy it from? Did you run the Cummins 2.8mm lift cam plate or the stock 2.3mm?

Yes i have 2 tuned pump with chinese head. There in the finland we sometimes do grouporders. New chinese head cost about 100 euros when it is in your hand in here finland. Originaly bosch head is better but it cost near to 1000euro

You can order it from here...
http://www.vepump.cn/Distributor_Head.htm

6/12L bosch nro 1 468 336 626 is a right liquidhead.

I don`t know spects of my cam plate but it is better than original.

Its maybe better to give your pump somebody whos professional. Homemade pumps doesnt work very well. If you do it your self you get maybe 20-50% more fuel but if professional do it you get near to 100% more fuel. And other problems is going too if you build it your self.

How much that head cost in ebay?
