Throttle Linkage Worn/detaching
Wondering if anyone else has faced this issue:
The throttle lineage keeps detaching whilst driving resulting in a dead pedal. It appears that the ball and socket connections at each end have worn down so that the linkage can be popped off easily without undoing the plastic clip. I'm assuming its the studs that have worn rather than the sockets, which I'm guessing will be hard to source. Has anyone managed to replace the linkage with a universal replacement: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/285867488...mis&media=COPY |

In my experience, it's the plastic sockets that get deformed from user error-- popping them off and on the ball studs without unlocking them first. Then they fit sloppy and can tend to disengage by themselves.
They were used in many applications and could possibly be found at the JY.
