Hard to say with so little information given.

When did the problem start?

Was there anything done to the IP that may have caused this problem?

Were there any adjustments to the fuel (smoke) screw?

Was this run on vegetable oil?

The more info you can provide, the better we can help.

a NA IP on a turbo engine can run, but there will be excessive overfueling at non-boost conditions as it lacks the LDI to reduce overfueling at non- or low-boost conditions.
