Yes that is much easier done with the special wrench. I have done it with a common combination wrench but don't recommend that. Make sure to keep any foreign matter from getting in.
What is the problem with your current injectors?

fuel lines
thanks for the prompt reply Ngoma, yes i have purchased the special cranked wrench , the car still runs good i think i haven't driven another D24, but read after that amount of miles it shoud be done although fuel consumption is still ok
and starts 1st turn of the key every time but puffs and pants for a short minute but at 27 years old there will be noticeable noise and smoke in cold weather, thats why i woud like to put fresh injectors in , what is your opinion on this woud appreciate your comments ? |

My opinion?
Don't fix it if it ain't broke! Unless you're experiencing symptoms of injector problems why go thru the hassle of replacing them? Hard start/no start Rough running/misfire Smell of diesel fuel Excessive smoke, black or white Poor performance, excessive fuel consumption These days, with corporate cost-cutting, consolidation, supply chain issues, the new injectors may be inferior to what you have. Where did you hear that injectors must be replaced at 150,000 miles?

What do I think, again?
If the injectors are not problematical, leave them be. Keep your spares for when you need them.
