Default New radiators on eBay

I want to purchase a new Nissans radiator from this eBay post.

It's for my 1985 745 D24T, manual 4 speed with overdrive. This looks like it's for the automatic since it has the fittings for the tranny oil cooler, but I think it will work. Price including shipping will be around $75.00.

Any thoughts on the quality of this radiator?

Any thoughts on whether or not it will fit my 745?

IIRC the deep ones are 23 1/4" tall, so they hang down in the scoop airdam.

This is the radiator I'm using, the quality is excellent- it cools MUCH better than the all brass radiators as the flat tubes have more surface area.

Mine was keeping engine temps low until my oil cooler blew, now it's running hot again. I'm going to try soaking it with degreaser, with the same methods used to clean Volvo intercoolers.

You're in a hotter environment than I am so that's good to hear! I'll make the purchase. I can't beat the price either.

1/4 box of Cascade dish machine detergent, run to operating temp, and drain.
Enjoy your oil free cooling system.

Default Radiator installed and tested

I installed the Nissens radiator and it works VERY well. The fit was perfect and I'm no longer concerned about the old brittle plastic on the original. If anyone needs to replace their radiator I recommend this one. And, you cannot beat the price.

I also found my thermostat had broken so it was good I did this when I did.
