Went for a drive in Spensers freshly rebuilt, t5 swapped, big turbo intercooled, 12mm pump d24t 744 at carlisle. Wow, that thing moves. Only hitting 10 or so psi, feels almost like a gas car, it actually pushes you back in your seat (I have yet to experience this phenomenon in mine). The transmission is such an improvement over the m46, really clean direct shifts and and better ratios in 1st to 2nd. Makes my dying-synchro m46 feel positively crude in comparison. The car itself was incredibly clean under the hood, Spenser you should post some pics of your engine bay.

Thanks for the compliments! I liked the suspension improvements on yours. It handled much better then mine.

I did order a T3/t4 hybrid turbo, as well as a 9cm housing for the H1C turbo on the car now. That should fix the lack of boost.

Then to fix the clutch slipping issue, I ordered a 6-puck clutch and pressure plate with stronger springs.

I'll post some pics a little later, at work right now...

Carlisle was a great time, with a lot of cars. I enjoyed it a lot.

2018 Carlisle????

I have 2/3 issues fixed on the 760... Put the T3/T4 turbo on (Boost comes on soooo much sooner), and got a better clutch in it (no more slipping).

I still have to do the strut mounts.... Ran out of time because I started working a lot of OT. Then it got super cold.

I'm planning to get there in my 740. Hopefully other dieselers could do the same...
