Default [740] Swap D24 with D24T/D24TIC - Plug'n'Play?

Hi all!
It's my first post here, so I'd like to say hi to all folks here

I'm running a 740 with D24. Engine is almost dead now, so I'm thinking about replacing it with a new one. I've done such things before, but only replacing D24 with another healthy D24, I do not have any experience with turbocharged D24. But D24T engines are more likely to find that D24 in my region...
Tell me please, should I expect any problems while dropping D24T into engine bay, or it will fit just so, like N/A one, let's call it Plug'n'Play?

The car is Volvo 740, '91 with M47 transmission. Please think about D24T/D24TIC whenever I wrote D24T, I would not distinguish these for now. I've read a quite siimilar topic on this forum, but about 245 car, so it doesn't come with much help in my case.

To steep deeper into this topic - what about Volkswagen DV and 1G engines from LT truck? Will they fit also?

Thank you in advance for your interest and greetings from Poland

If you have a D24 without turbo I think the engines are totally identical. The only difference is the turbo

I'll belive it's Plug'n'play here

I have put a d24t from vw lt in my 245 and it is alot of work. But if you have a complete engine from a 740/940 it should fit very well since the car is a diesel from start.

Thanks to all of you.
Swap done, still some details to do, but the car is running now. D24T really fits perfectly without too much additional work.
