Is this the temperature sensor at the front of your engine?

Is this the temperature sensor at the rear of your engine?

Hello folks

So I join this thread cause the needle of my temp gauge wont move since the severe
overheat she went through 2 yrs ago. each and every electrical component on the car is working but the OD lamp and the left parking light . my sensors are good , I tested them with a lighter. I dont really follow the connection in the instrument cluster, so I really dont understand what is happening. if anyone has a hint...
cheers
