Default Water pumps

I went to the parts store today getting parts for the D24t. The only water pump they had was a Japanese brand that was $30. I think the brand name was GMB. I asked kevin about it and he said there not a very good quality pump. So what brand is reliable and still available?

Hmm here they have pretty solid reputation, what ive heard.
Im myself using also GMB water pump, and i havent had any problems.
That propeller which moves water is metal-cast, and it have 6-wings
instead of 4 wings from water pump what volvo uses.
No heat problems there, i suggest you to go for it.
I cant remember what companies use GMB as first-assemble parts,
but i can harddly remember if Bugatti was one of these.

The pumps we carry at work are also GMB. We sell them for many of the water cooler vws and have never had one come back or fail in the last 10 years.

I wouldn't hesitate to run one in my car.

Graf would probably be better quality, but like I said I've never had a problem GMB

I ordered a Hepu water pump that was in stock. Then I got a call yesterday from the company I ordered it from saying they could not find one on the shelf. So my money was refunded. I'll see about the graf if not I'll buy the GMB.
