Importing from Canada to Us??

So i am going to go look at jhawks 82 diesel wagon this weekend. Does anybody know of or have any suggestions on importing it back to the Us. Will I have any problems? Should I fill out the forms before hand or just wait until if they ask for them? What do I need as far as legal paperwork from the current owner to show the border? Does Canada have the same title as the US? Thanks!!!

There is probably more variation in title and transfer requirements state to state than there is us V Canada. Nice it went OK, what did you have to present/inspect?

Just presented the border with title and bill of sale. They charged me 2.9% on the sale. No inspection. Pretty straight forward I am guessing because it is older than 25 years.
