Volvo 245 TD *more power project*
Hello!
This is my new project. The engine is D24T without intercooler. 1,1bar boost and more fuel. Performance is now 0-100km/h about 11s and 1/4-mile best 17,2s/128km/h(no lock). I own this car over 2 years...

Original turbo is bad condition and I allready order: Garrett T3/4 turbo, aluminium intercooler and 14" electric radiator fan... they coming maybe next week? I allready have 12mm fuelpump in this car. Its homemade but i hope its work well with bigger turbo too!
I dont but very big turbo this time because i want that car work well in the street... this is not racecar but i hope i get least 200hp

Nice looking wagon! What year is it? It looks like an '86 or newer, but I think you may have gotten the newer style front end in Europe sooner than we did in the US, we still had the old style through 1985 which was also the last year for the D24 in the 240, so we never got any diesels with the later style front end. Anyway yours looks clean and not too rusty either.... sounds like pretty soon it will be a quick runner as well.
Where in Finland are you located? I was born in Helsinki....

Wow! There is a major lack of clearance! I have heard of people needing to notch the body to clear the turbo on a 240 D24+T conversion but I never understood why. I added a turbo to my 240 and I have plenty of room. I Wonder if there is different turbine shapes?
What are the specs on that turbo? How did you build your 12mm injection pump? Nice project.
