oil temp gauge
I recently installed a factory oil temperature gauge from a a V6 780 but I misplaced the temperature sender. Anybody have any tips on what other type of oil temp sender I can use on D24T that would work with the OEM gauge?

One from a 5 cyl Audi replaces the big bolt in the bottom of the oil pump. Both VDO gauges, but I'm not sure of the resistance.

thanks, I found a guy on turbobricks that makes the drain plugs with the correct sender for the gauge from the v6.

Yes, but that is a horrible spot for a wire, and I easily sold my OE temp gauge for $140 because they are pretty rare
