I should have intro'd myself in here first
Hi my name is Si I am from the UK and a huge petrol head interested in most retro cars my attachment to this site comes from owning a VW LT truck which runs a stock D24 soon to be a D24TIC I hope.
I hope this does not offend any die hard Volvo entusiasts even though I have a soft spot for a decked 740/760 wagon with some retro rims I have yet failed to own one. Anyway I guess we can help each other out as if the VW LT had never been I doubt the D24 would have either........... Si |

Welcome to the forum! The name of the site IS D24T, not volvo diesels only... You are the first member with a LT truck though. Please post up a couple pictures of it, I have only heard of them and would love to see what it looks like.

Welcome.
I second the request for a picture of the truck. I have always wanted to see the vehicle that carries the D24's LT brethren. |

The Volkswagen crowd calls the D24 a LT35, correct?

Its the truck they call that. Actually there is the LT 28, LT 31 and LT 35 being trucks that grossed 2.8, 3.1 and 3.5 tonnes. The D24 , D24T and D24TIC all had their turn in those trucks.
