Here is the other modification would have to do with any of these gasser radiators. The bottom coolant hose will not reach with the lack of angle of the bottom outlet. If you find one of these at the junkyard you want to grab the relay as well. You would find it on the right side behind the headlight. The housing I have holding my censor is from a Saab. You can get any censor from any part store. The E-fans are two speeds my censor is hooked up to high speed and that would be the white wire and I have my low speed on a switch on the dash and that is blue. I would recommend hooking up a inline 30 amp fuse. It's not to hard to wire up took me a good 30 minutes.

Just had Kevin do the final torque spec on the head bolts yesterday. Rechecked the valve clearance and pump timing.

Hmm I have a copper elbow fitting very simillar to yours along with a piece of straight rubber hose. I will post a photo too when I figure out how to.
I am using the 92 Turbo gas radiator. I am using the diesel std lower hose and I adapt it, not quite the same but similar. I also have the fan relay you mentioned. That is standard on the 92 740 turbo gas. On this particular year however, as I mentioned before, the fan relay is controlled by the gas engine ECU (also by the a/c) in lieu of a temp switch. Obviously I am not using that ECU so at present I have no way of switching on and off the electric fan based on temps. Where is your fan switch? Is that what I see in the rad top hose ? Thanks, Steve |

Thanks, could you please give me some info on the switch? I have not located a part number yet, other than the one that fits a grommet in the rad.
Thanks, Steve |

Been cleaning the engine bay a little more. Painted the valve cover and timing belt cover as well.

Looks good. Sorry I couldn't make it to the show, looks like it went well. I'll be sure to get down to the IPD garage sale.
Glad you guys stopped by though. It's always good to have as many D24Ts as possible in one place. Get your cold start working and your alt compensation circuit wired up, then time it to .93 and I bet you'll be much happier with the way it starts and runs.
