With only 120,xxx km on it you shouldn't need to do anything to the cylinder head. Most of the wear will be on the exhaust valve faces and guides. All the cylinder heads that I have checked out that I pulled from running engines are beyond a valve lap, 90% of them needing new exhaust valves and guides.
You will be able to see the wear on the valves if present and check valve guide wear by moving the valves side to side all without tearing the cylinder head apart.

This Bolts are only to CENTER the Head and Headgasket, When the Head is on the Block, and some Original Screws are in, this bolts came out, and normal Head Bolts (New of course) in.
Parkheater fully functional, Heater Matrix blocking something- Inlet HOT, Outlet Cold. I will try to blow/Flush it this weekend, if its still not heating: I kick it out. Last edited by sonny; 03-03-2015 at 03:13 AM. |
