Default Is registration down?

I had somebody contact me from a d24 facebook group and he said the site wont let him register. I will copy paste his comment to me.

Hey chad, are you "chad1966" on D24t.com forum?

if so could you please help me out! i tried so many
times to awnser the "random question"...

question is
"How many cubic centimeters of displacement in a D24 engine?"
so i typed the regular stuff like "2,383" which the wiki page says about d24 engines, none. just says it the wrong awnser etc, tried like 20 diffrent combinations and stuff, even manually tried to calculated the displacement. could you please tell me the awnser or if you dont know just check with the site owner if its a glitch, cause when i tried contact tab about registering issues, it asks the same question.

Cheers

The answer is "2383" with no comma. Probably the one answer he didn't try.

I hate the fact that this hurdle is necessary, and FWIW most people seem not to have trouble with it, but every now and then it really holds someone up. Unfortunately, this seems to be the only quick answer to keeping the forum secure, since before I implemented it we were having 15-30 spam bot registrations every day which meant a lot of hassle. I did this out of desperation and no doubt there is a better way to do it. If anyone has any better ideas to offer, I'm all ears. My time for spending on the forum has been limited lately but this area needs improvement as soon as possible.
