Headstuds

I am here to give Information to where and how to find headstuds for these engines.

This is probably a given but I feel the need to say the head studs are the same as the vw 1.9tdi. We can source those easily
ARP part number. 204-4706

kit 204-4706 contains:

10) stud # AU5.400-2LUB $ 20.60
10) nut # 300-8307 $ 5.99
10) washer # 200-8500 $ 1.33
1) Ultra-Torque assembly lubricant .5 oz. # 100-9908 $ 2.34

This kit is $178.51

For the d24, we need 14 studs. You can buy the extra studs individually from JEGS. Part numbers above will achieve the individual studs, washers and nuts

This route will achieve a grand total of $316.25

These studs were extremely difficult to get for most of the last couple of years so glad to hear you were able to get a set! Seems like they are producing them again now.
