89 764 d24Tic with IRS and nivomat

Hi guys


Like the title says, I own a 89 facelifted 764 with multilink rear suspension and nivomat, the car is in need of shocks all around, can I simply replace the nivomat system for regular shocks and springs or is it not that simple?

i have read people changing rear shocks and springs to standard set up as the price of 1 nivomat is still way more than the whole set up i have nivomats on my 940 diesel i have replaced them with second hand ones and have a spare set ready if these fail they are very expensive over here ask on our VOC FORUM some one will help
