Anti lag?
There's an old anti lag system that caught my eye. Basically taking compressed air and shooting it into the exhaust manifold spoiling the turbo. Easy enough right. Small air tanks are cheap some fittings and some pipe. Use the ac contender as a compressor and a solenoid valve to control air into manifold. Any thoughts?

Why not just use Nitrious? You don't need anti-lag all the time, do you? Have the nitrious controlled via Hobbs switch and a micro switch on the throttle. Nitrious will be injected only in full throttle with low or no boost. You will have more power off the line and the turbo will spool faster.
Or.. just get a properly sized turbo. A stock T3 turbo from a D24T spools quick and will clean up all the fuel a stock injection pump can inject.

Because nitrous isn't original.

Ah, I just re-read your original post, you want to inject compressed air into the exhaust manifold pre-turbine? That will be a bit of a problem, the turbine is driven by exhaust gasess, hot gases that are expanding driving the turbine. Adding compressed air to the exhaust gases will cool them down and will create less expansion, less drive pressure. You might even add more lag.
Injecting a large volume of air into the intake would be better.

Well according to where I work that's why they do. They have a 2jz in a very popular drift car. And use a wastegate as a bov but instead of venting to the atmousphere it vents into the exhaust manifold plus they have 2 small cylinders of air that will shoot into the manifold aswell Sounds like a shot gun firing when the cylinders relieve the pressure. You would think it wouldn't work but well the turbo spins faster out of boost

I'm sure there is a lot more to the power pulse then just injecting compressed air into the exhaust pre-turbine. With all the advances in technology using VGT, VVT, and controlled injection I would assume it's using all of it to make it work. Just like a re-gen on the DPF. I would think it's programmed to inject some extra fuel to be burnt in the exhaust via delayed injection, advanced exhaust valve opening, etc.
Or I'm just over thinking it! Please give it a try and report the results. What turbo are you running anyways?
