I need to check IP timing on an 84 240 Diesel, does anyone have anything I can rent or borrow? Thanks.

I do have some tools to rent/loan. I sold my spares, which I wish I hadn't... and when we moved last year, my entire Volvo tool collection, along with some other tools went MIA. I have been purchasing replacement D24/D24T tools, both new and used. The only one that I don't have that I could really use is the 9995204, which I am looking to replace. If anyone is selling one, I will buy it!

I would like to know where you found the timing belt idler bearing puller #9995202. I could use that tool.

That time I didn`t have the tool so I did this and it worked.
Big strong bolt so it will stay in position on the block, AND, its large nut will sit against the edge.

Great use of substitution! So the improvised screw assembly dislodges the idler bearing from its seat enough to remove by hand. Thanks for sharing! I think I could come up with something like that.
