[IMG][/IMG]

Just picked up this Tachometer for my 244 D24.

Does anyone know how to hook these up?

Ign Power, ground, and probably blue wire to the W terminal on the alternator.

If you don't have a W terminal, solder a lead from any of the 3 stator legs before the rectifier.

How many wires, 4?
Ignition
Ground
Illumination
Signal
Can you post a picture of the wires laid out?
From what I can see the blue with red stripe will go to the fuse panel as ignition power I believe, the black will be ground, the coiled up wire goes to the alternator, last one is illumination, yellow?
I might be totally wrong, I never messed with the 52mm tachometers before.

Hello,

I confirm it's diesel tacho.

Gas's tachos red zone starts at 6000 or 6500 rpm.

Blue/red cable is For + AC (I plugged it on the fuse box)

the long black one goes to the alternator W.
