Boost Guage Install
Early 240 dash.
I'd like to see what other have done with their guages. I happen to have got this one for free from a local junkyard.

I found it in an '87 F-250 Diesel with the ATS turbo kit installed. There was also a Pyrometer but the battery fire destroyed it. They both guages by Isspro.

Looks good in the early dash. You are going to need a gauge with a higher max reading if you plan on any power modifications
No worries about the pyrometer, provided you have enough boost, the stock 10mm pump will not exceed the thermal limit of the engine. |

52mm diameter VDO original, buyed it as new from shop. Closer look: Pressure is presented as BAR's instead of PSI since on Europe its more common. Should have enough max reading for further increase of boost No need to destroy anything, using strong two-side tape and its been standing there now half year as stable as it was when i putted it there. Sorry my english. |

Thanks for sharing... Thats where I have my boost gauge at the moment. Your english isn't too bad at all, its great to have a member from Europe on the board! Isn't 1 bar around 14 psi or so? The guage is a great match to the factory dash.

Hi guys,
Sorry for replying to an old thread, but didnt want to make a new one for just this one question. Looking to install boost gauge on my d24t and just wanted to make sure if this is the hose where I could add my T connector to gauge? Thanks! |
