The previous owner has a few bits so i got a nissens fan from him in the box new..... glad i did not pay full price
The fan had the same plug and pcd on 3 bolt holes but the outer casing on the 940 original fan was different. The plastics that came with it did not fit on the car also as far as i could tell so i assume are for a 960. The new motor body fowled on the old plastic also as it stuck out more. I had to reform the outer fan body casing with a blowtorch and a glass jar
And after all that it still didnt seal too well around the edges so i had to use some rubber sealer that came with it to finish it off. And on top of that the new fan is also crap haha. When stationary it seems to have at least 30% less power
So i have heaters again and it works but its is not as good as previous which is rather irritating
