Looks pretty far gone with that rot in the lower door edges and probably everywhere in the floors. Maybe a combination of road salt made worse by sitting in that damp grass for a long time.

Looks like it might be a good parts car for your fleet though? Or a good beater for a person who doesn't care about rust or has a better one they want to save from the salt.

That is an "early 1984" model in GL trim, it should have power windows, cruise control, leather upholstery, and other high level features.

"Late 1984" or 1984.5 240 diesels, unlike this one, are in DL trim instead (vinyl or cloth seats, manual windows, steel wheels instead of the alloys, etc) plus have some 1985 model year trim updates. Different instrument cluster being one of them. Also the 1984.5 models have a different glow plug control system with the single large relay like a 700 series rather than the two relays used in 1980-1984.

Edit: wow, that's a lot of miles, someone must have done a decent job taking care of it for a long time.
