Presumably this would fit a 740, 760, 940 as well? I don't see why not, but his ad only mentions 240/D24.

Maybe he made some special modifications for the 200 series that he is not describing. I thought the 200 never got the M90, which would mean that this transmission is out of a 7/9 and has a bellhousing oriented for the more vertical 7/9 engine position. Thus installing it into a 240 with the greater slant would mean the transmission and gear lever would be tipped over towards the right side of the car unless he made special other provisions. Maybe that is what his photo looking up into the trans tunnel is meant to show, does look like some kind of custom-modified shift lever pivot support, perhaps specially positioned for 240 install.

Interesting in any case, and seems like a good deal aside from the question of shipping cost.
