No connection with either of these but both sound like decent starting points.
1984 automatic, silver, paint condition looks nice, rare cloth interior on a 760. Appears to be an early 1984 with the pre-1984.5 style mirrors, cluster, and probably the early style 1983/1984 only front struts and brakes that parts are getting scarce for.

Wiper problem is probably loose nut or at worst stipped splines, seems common on the early cars, new wiper linkage and arm would fix it.
1982 (supposedly) M46 car, probably a 1983 but maybe an early build date. Looks like paint may need help but OK otherwise, sounds like a solid runner, timing belt allegedly recent but would want to confirm where/who/how.
