Yeah, I’m not sure the naturally aspirated D24 would be such a good idea, but then again those base model 2wd pickups don’t weigh much more than a 244 GL that came with that engine. Interestingly enough that is one swap I want to do... but I will use the forced induction model ‘D24T’ plus and IC 😀. S10’s, S15’s, Sonoma’s, Blazers, and Jimmy’s are my first love, the diesel Volvo came second. Why not join them together? 😍

The s10’s also used the T5 transmission for a long time, would be super easy to adapt it using the T5 mustang adapter.
