pfff trouble. You mussst absolutely make sure that the plugs work perfectly. All of them, especially if the engine is suspected being tired or misadjusted. Im sure you did stuff, im just saying....Checked if the pump is energized (`shutoff`)?
I dont know how to manually warm the plugs but im sure with proper basic tools you could do all six plugs in less than 2hrs. Dont give up, just smoke the hood up soon and keep us updated.

It might be the stupidest thing to ask but how`s the filter did you ever get it off and if you did did you reuse it plus how did car run/start before?
A `slow` (weak) starter can mess u up too. Cranking speed is somewhat very important. Check all basic things because stress can make us forget checking those very minor issues so we often overlook things. I do hope you figure it out very soon. Stay away from autolite etc glowplugs if you decide to give them a shot. Rock@uto has the proper bosch 80010 plugs on sale for $5.

In case it wont start being warm (???) then i suggest temporarily disconnecting the wire that runs to the rear temp sensor that is located in the head at the firewall near the IP.... thus triggering a truly fake `cold-start`
