Ok, I found the diagram of the oil pressure...

Ok, I found the diagram of the oil pressure relief valve in the service manual.

I feel dumb but at least I know what happened now. Thanks for your help.

Ok looks like I was just unscrewing the wrong...

Ok looks like I was just unscrewing the wrong bolt / plug... I was in the front of the engine near the oil filter and needed to be at the rear...

Update:

I reinserted the oil plug.

I then removed the old oil filter and a little old (black) oil started coming out.

I then started pouring the new oil into the engine to see if it would...
