Quick spool valve diesel pump uk

Hello everybody I have ran across a quick spool valve offered by diesel pump UK. I was wondering if anyone has tried one on the d24 t or d24tic. I'm thinking on buying it, but I know that since our engine are low mounted I was thinking it might not fit up. Thank you and have a great new years everyone.

This is for making the turbo spool up faster? How does it work?

There is quite a bit of space around the turbo on these cars but depending on what the system is it might or might not work.

Anders on here has had great reports from using ball bearing type turbos from Turbonetics. Those are supposed to be very good for fast response also.

I have a couple of these on the 2 stroke Detroit powered truck I race/sled pull with. They are effective, however given the nature of these engines, I don't think making a bunch of boost down low is gonna be a good idea. They like to rev and make power up top. The rods aren't all that robust and lots of boost/cylinder pressure at low rpm isn't gonna be good. I'd focus on finding a turbo that makes good boost at a midrange RPM and up. I still think the reason my original engine lasted as long as it did with the crappy head bolts was thanks to the bigger turbo with large exhaust housing. It didn't make real boost untill 3000rpm+, and the lower drive pressure helped save the head gasket.

I think the perfect combo for a driver looking for more power but not all out performace would be a .48 A/R T3 hot side with the typical T4 compressor with a 50ish mm wheel, I forget the size mine had but it worked well. I was running a .63 A/R hot side, but plan to do the .48 on my new project for better all around drivability as I'm not trying to push this one to the limit like last time!
