M.O.T. pass but advisory
 
hi all my 940 TDI passed mot this morning
but advisory said both front tyres are wearing on inside edges
any advice on this most grateful if its certain bushes that cause this or other things

That is great news! Good on you for maintaining an old car to pass MOT.

Inside edges front tires? Collision damage? Excessive toe-out? Does the car wander when trying to point it straight?

thanks for reply had a slight collision with a tractor about 10 years ago
car is ok in straight line not holding steering wheel tried it
had the steering rack swopped years ago to for second hand one but it was not the rack just air in system i think as the vibrating steering wheel just cured itself after a month or so

i was tempted recently to buy a V70 2.5 se diesel 2000 reg with 1 lady owner from new she was the only driver it was perfect all leather and 66000 it sold to 1st person who went to see it £3000 but 150 miles away and ive had this car so long now so sticking with it for another year
