Default Injector shims to adjust opening pressure

Any update about the shims?

I took apart three sets of injectors and
I am noticing two different shims, some have a larger hole than others. Will measure soon and post a picture...to show and compare. Can you interchange and/or mix those?
What`s the purpose of certain shims having a substantially smaller hole?
Is this in connection with how (how quickly or gradually) and when the pressure builds, at all?

Where do you guys get the shims? Any source online available or do I have to visit a junkyard with the 27/22/17mm tools ))
Usually I see no diesels either... not even a benz or a rabbit.

Different shim center hole size no functional difference, as long as it has one.
