Default what are the largest wheels?

what are the largest wheels i can/should put on my 240?

17s are probably about it without having to run super low profile tires. You may want to check over on turbo bricks there are alot of guys on that forum with bigger wheel/tire combos.

Yes they will fit, but, to have a correct fitment, you need spacer to obtain the correct offset.

Default 15" wheels with Jeep cheroke off road tyres

I use these babys, gives a rolling radius increase of 14% or thereabouts.
Got them off a 4.0 litre 1998 jeep cheroke , there are no clearance issues at the rear but they foul the spring platforms on the front struts (just, by 3mm!)
Gives better ground clearance when in the fields and with the locker diff i never get stuck in snow or mud.

just picked up a set of 16" 5 spokes with 205/55`s they sharpened up the steering a bit now it really needs those billies & sway bars ,best thing is its a size thats used on the current s40`s so i got access to plenty of part worns like p7`s happy days.
