Default Another D24T gets saved!

So I finally pulled that D24T in the junkyard. Don't know a whole lot about it yet, but it looks ok. It has 244K miles on it, turns pretty smoothly by hand, has a two-notch fiber head gasket and supposedly has a leaky injector pump. I ended up paying $258 out the door for it (or less than a dollar for every 1000 miles on the clock, lol). I'm excited that I have it in my possession now, but the hard part is yet to come. Now for a lot more reading on how to tear into this sucker and build it right. Thanks to all those who offered advice!

They wanted too much for it. I think they quoted me something like $45. If somebody wants it and they're willing to pay that plus shipping, I can go back and pull it. I won't have the chance to get out there for at least another week though so no guarantees it'll still be there.

Oh Just in case anybody cares.
D24T at the pick n pull.
I took the pump, Somebody cut the timing belt.
Everything else is there. 138k on it. Perhaps a new head gasket is needed? and timing belt. I didn't grab it because I need to stop spending money at the damned junkyard. especially when I don't have any money. I'd say that it will be there another couple weeks Maybe a month before they smash it.

I wish I could have saved it. Just don't have the money/time.
