Alternator relocation.
So I have an 85 745 turbo diesel with the M46. Over the summer I installed a Holeset HY35. My issue is the alternator is too close to the turbo to make any sort of inlet to allow an intake pipe and an air filter. I've been trying to find options and recently came across Some Volvo diesels with the alternator on the driver side instead of the passenger side. The accessory bracket looks alot different and I'm wondering if anybody knows what years the alternator has been moved on to the driver side.
