Default 87°c thermostat in a d24t ?? is it normale

my car wasn't have a thermostat so i find one with 87°c so am asking is it normale for the engine i mean is it good in anormale weather considering that the summer is so hott so please help me am so confused ??? thank you

I believe that sounds basically right. I think the OEM one might be 89C but 87 ought to be close enough. What brand is it? You should use only a Wahler, Behr, or OEM Volvo.
