Default JD's 745 wagon

Here's some pictures of some of the modifications I've done to get my 745 fully operational.

Tinted windows, very dark on the back windows, legal darkness on the front's.

Nice leather front seats from a Pick-n-Pull car.

Original leather rear seats.

New head rebuilt by Portland Aluminum Head rebuilders (Thanks Anders).

New Volvo intake "pipe". The one from the airbox to the turbo.

New plastic trim in the rear interior.

New hitch from a Pick-n-Pull 745.

Oil cooler installed in the front bumper. With my "hide-a-key" attached!!!

Oil cooler exterior with the "custom" hole in the bumper.

Oil cooler sandwich plate attached below the stock oil to water cooler. Also pictured is a "Donaldson" oil filter that I got from TEC Equipment for under $4.00. I got a case of 12 for under $48.00.

Good flexible cable ties from Pick-n-Pull to replace the old brittle ones.

Looks great! Oil cooler should help with engine temps in hot weather. Rare to see a 700 series headliner still holding up -- was yours redone?

I've got a wagon in that same color -- I put early 760 10-spoke alloys on and liked the way it woke up the exterior appearance, esp on a wagon w/o roof rack. I'll see if I can find a picture...

Default Re-done headliner?

It looks like a prior owner did glue the cloth to the pressboard or plastic. I'm not sure what an original looks like so have nothing to compare it to. I would guess the pressboard is different also.

I'll look for your picture with the other wheels.

In the summer it is frequently over 100 F here in Reno and Northern Nevada and I know the oil cooler will help the engine.

One of the best Pick-n-Pull finds I've ever made was the front seats. They are comfortable, they are mechanical and adjust easily and the leather was in very good condition.
