Default 12mm pump head?

I have found this injectionpump and was wondering if it is a 12mm head? It comes from a kad42 Volvo penta, where I also got the compressor from that I'm using on my hot rod engine. Hope some one can help me.86_4602350.jpg

I think I would have to be logged in to YOUR account to view the picture?

Should be easy to tell by part number;

NP-VE x/x F xxxx A R NP xx

NP
These two letters stand for the manufacturer, in th
is case, Diesel Kiki
VE
Distributor-type injexction pump
x
number of cylinders
x
plunger diameter in millimeters
F
mechanical governor
xxxx
governor-controlled RPM number
A
design symbol
R
direction of rotation (
R
for clockwise,
L
for counterclockwise)
NP xx
production serial number

Also a head form an R pump won't work on an L pump, they must be same- rotation.

I have talked with a bosch diesel mechanic and he said that the 0460 number means its a ve pump and the 416 means 11mm head. 406 for 10mm and 426 for 12mm head is that right?

Useful thread - thanks for the explanation of the model no.

Which rotation is ours - L or R?

Usually measured from the shaft end, so L, or anticlockwise (British terminology, correct?)
You can verify by watching which way yours spins.
