Default Tdic with NA pump

Hey i have a problem with my 945 tdic.
The problem is that the engine "hooks" on my rpm. So when i go over 2000rpm my engine slooooowly revs down. Right when it goes under 2000 i falls down to idle just like i should. Any ideas? And why im making this post is cause i wonder if it would work with a NA pump istead of turbo. Any ideas?

Will it run, yes. Run to full potential? no.
Is your throttle arm on the correct spline?

EGR acting up ?
Sticky egr valve maybe.
Try the same with the egr valve disconnected.

oh ur a member here, big fan of your d24 videos on YT. anyway ya i have thought about block of the egr, but what should be the easiest way to check it without having to remove the pipe from the exhaust and so on. i saw that theres a yellow "tube" from the egr at the air intake manifold, is that the one?

I didn't read your complain well enough.
My bad.
No egr related.
Otherwise you would have problems when rpm rise, not the opposite.

It must be in the pump.
Somebody maybe added some fuel, the idle is screwed a bit because of that.

The idle rpm is regulated by a centrifugal regulator, with few little levers inside the pump, and a spring countering the centrifugal force.
