New 16" rims but i am going to by some nicer rims when the type i will have being listed for sale. I have also decided to take the very little of rust and paint the car all they way down to get it perfect and clean.

What a find. I'm envious.

Does it have manual steering? Or is the pump mounted lower? The place where it would be on a US car is empty, but the picture of the D24 at the top of the page here (the forum logo) shows the pump mounted in a different location. Maybe that's how the Euro-market cars were set up.

The engine had not been started in a few months and when i started it it fires right up with no missfires. The diesel system is on this car has no leaks. This is the first d24 i have that starts on the first round on the starter after sitting a few months!

Nice work! Are you going back with the original color?

Now that you'll have the body looking real nice, I think a turbo setup should be next!

I am going to paint the car from half and down. i am not going to put a turbo on this because i want to keep it original and i see how long i can drive with a d24 that has not been opened. I have a other 240 with d24t that i am going to put in a old 240 and tune that engine with big turbo and cooler.
