I now have a 2-3/4" down pipe and plan to step it to 3" down the car. Right now it has the stock center section and then steps up to 2.5" over the axle. Since I ended up going with a different turbo, I'm just going to start over from the down pipe back and do it 3", it should be nice and deep.

My wife hates my car too!

Update! I did the 3" back, dumping out in front of the rear tire (for now). It sounds freakin' amazing! Really deep and pretty damn loud. Almost too loud, but I think once I get it behind the tire that should help calm it down a little bit. I finnaly got the attention of a Cummins diesel truck tonight. A couple kids were tooling around in a mid 90's dodge with a 12v cummins. They were asking if the volvo had a cummins in it too! Anyway, they were respecting on the sound and wanting to know where they could find a Volvo diesel... I told them good luck!

Here in sweden it is actually esier to find a volvodiesel than a dodge cummins truck... and the prices for the dodge is just, how to say it... if I win the lottery high....
And then for most of them you will need a truckdriving licence here in sweden just because it is possible to have a total weight of more than 3500 kg.... and then there is the road tax system... Oh boy am I angry now... I canīt even tell you about this stupid system...

Total oposite here in the states. Cummins diesel trucks are like belly buttons.... Everyone has one! Hell I have had 6 myself! A volvo diesel on the other hand, I have never seen another besides mine. I'm in the midwest part of the US so there are less around compaired to the coasts. It took me a year and a half to find the one I have.

I know the over-taxed feeling... We have personal property tax, and pay a tax based on the vehicles value every year for as long as you own it, thats after paying sales tax when you bought it in the first place!

Here you pay extra tax if your car is a diesel. My car is registred as a light truck then its half taxed, but your not allowed to have any passengers in the backseat :-(
