Default 940 D24 TDIC swap in a 240

Hello

I've got a 940 DTIC as a donor car and a 240 with an engine consuming oil.
So did someone had do this swap ? (940 TDIC in a 240 wagon)
I've seen that the turbo is close to a frame rail.
Intercooler sems to fit also.

My gearbox, M46 + overdrive is annoying : the OD works rarely ... So I'll think to swap it for a M47 5 speed that I've got with the 240 shorter shaft

Any information or tricks are welcomed !

Sorry for my poor English, that's not my native language (I'm a French living in south France)

Welcome!

Yes, many have D24T into 2xx series. A few have D24TIC. Look around on the forum for examples. Here are a few:

The M47 is also problematical, why not use a M90, which should be generally available in the EU?
