Pump leaks, again.
Some months ago I changed all the seals from thr upper part of the diesel pump. It was easy. Now it leakes from the bottom part, there are 2 plates screwed with 2 30torx, 1 is reachable easy but the one that leaks is impossible to reach. near the engine, and I do not have space to work.
I have a Pump from a 940 d24tic. I think I should change it, do you have any reading to do it correctly, or comments. Thanks

If you know the pump of the 940 is good just swap it out. You really should get a greenbook manual for the engine at least if you don't have one.

You have to remove it from the engine and retime anyway.
If you take it off and do all the lower body seals then put it back, you will still have a spare 940 pump that you do not know if it leaks or not :-) If you install the 940 pump you will still have a back up pump that you know leaks. Steve |

Anyone has a d24tic pump on a d24t, is possible to use it?

I would think that there isn't a big enough increase in power (with the intercooler) to necessitate a difference in the IP.
