what is volvo vadis?
hi i have seen many times some picture of a program called volvo vadis can anyone explaine to me waht is this program ???? thank you

Hello,
Volvo "VADIS" was the software used at dealership parts counters (and others) to look up part information, service procedures, service bulletins, and other tasks. VADIS was superseded by a newer system (VCADS) a few years ago. It is very helpful in tracking down part numbers and the like.

I thought the new system was called VIDA?
I have a copy of VADIS but haven't had time to get it up and running. It does make parts much easier to find, has blow-up illustrations of every component and system, etc. Hoping to get it going sometime this spring, once I clear some space on the hard drive.
