Oh yeah! That reminds me now of one of mine where I had to put a small foam pad there between the accelerator cable and the power steering booster, where the cable would rest on top of the booster.

It took so long to find and I was so paranoid it was a serious fault. I had my mate sat holding the revs so it was making the noise while I wiggled and pulled just about everything on the car, I can't believe it was something so simple
