Default rear wheel bearings

hi all just got pass for m.o.t . but 1 advisory rear wheel bearings getting noisy .
never heard them myself . but who would in this car .
is it a big job thats my question .

it's not a small job. i did both of mine last summer. basically the process is:

jack up and remove rear wheel on the side in question (or both should you decide to do both).
remove brake calliper (two bolts)
Remove brake disk (one retainer bolt/pin thing)
remove handbrake shoes (much patience and grazed knuckles)
remove plate that holds half shaft in (four bolts accessed through a hole in the hub)
slide out half shaft

have the new bearings pressed on by a friendly machine shop => refitting is the reverse of removal.

If you want more details and can wait a while I took loads of photos when I did mine with the intention of writing a 'How To' article for the VOC forums but I very much doubt I'll be able to make time to do that before my exams at the end of the month.
