Question drive shaft stuck to pinion shaft

Hello Diesel Breathers!

Im working on my recently bought Volvo 940.
i'm trying to remove the gearbox so i can install a new clutch kit but I have a big problem in removing the drive shaft.
I removed the 4 bolts from the flange and the 4 ones from the middle support but I find it really difficult to separate the shaft from the output flange.
I hope I explained well enough and I'm putting all my hope in you giving me a solution.

Thank you!

I removed mine by unbolting at the differential and the transmission output flanges, and unbolting the center support bracket to the underside and took out the whole driveshaft that way. Make sure to mark the halves if you intend to separate the sections. It is balanced in the one position only.

This might help:

Driveshaft, Driveline, Rear Axle
