Default WTB power steering bracket

WTB power steering bracket, mine broke in 3 pieces! Down by the waterpump pinch bolt (common) but now right in the middle. Anybody ever seen this before?

Damn! UGH! I thought it was only the 200 series nonturbo diesel versions that do that.
I`ll need to address my worn ps bushings again for the 740 before this happens.
Any idea why exactly it happened, or how?

I have my pulley&belt clearly misaligned... and bc the belt does like to run pretty tight, I bet there is pressure on the entire bracket.
I have the bushings arriving tomorrow as part of a bigger order, I recall this project being very annoying due to the fact that we need to be careful with that lower lip of the bracket, they look thin around each hole. And the bushings and washers line up in a weird configuration, or at least they do on mine. I`ll need to do this soon to avoid needing a `new` bracket as you did.

It was broken when I got it, just the common break at the bottom. Before the further cracks, the A/C compressor had worked its way loose. Several of the compressor mounting ears and bracketry were loose, some bolts were missing. That might have set up extra vibrations that the PS pump bracket didn't like.
